They have specially designed welts that won’t constrict or pinch as they hold up without pressure. They include smooth toe seams too, so there is none of the uncomfortable rubbing that can lead to blisters.
The socks, supplied in a triple pack, use a combination of silky, smooth bamboo fibre and other fibres in a fine gauge 200-needle construction for a wonderfully soft sock with bamboo’s natural antibacterial properties that help prevent odour and fungal growth. I fully intended to recommend these socks to other people in my situation. The socks are beautifully made in a fine knit and looked ideal. They fitted like a dream, but were a bit long for my leg. Then after a couple of hours, I realised that my right leg had a deep weal right round it where the narrow top cuff was over the widest part of my leg. The left leg was fine. I have lymphodema in my right leg. Elastane content may make a sock fit well but I would have preferred a baggy sock to a deep weal on my leg. Apparently it is not possible to buy Sock shop socks without elastane so I cannot buy more as I would have done, nor can I recommend them to the many people that I know who also have my problem. As I said to their helpline, I may have to find a way of knitting my own, - and I hate knitting.

The sock is soft and very comfortable but absolutely will not stay up. The cuff is so baggy that they continually roll down which is disappointed. Will not be buying again.
