They have specially designed welts that won’t constrict or pinch as they hold up without pressure. They include smooth toe seams too, so there is none of the uncomfortable rubbing that can lead to blisters.

Great socks. All the advantages of bamboo and they stay up but don't grip your lower leg tightly. Very good if you have swollen ankles because of blood pressure pills or other medical conditions. Size 12 to 14 are actually big enough for large feet unlike so many types that are a bit smaller or shrink when washed. Not the cheapest or the most expensive but they are worth it. They aren't overly thick but warm enough. Would be nice if you could buy packs of brighter (dark red) colours rather than packs of single dark colours or packs of multi colour with only one pair dark red.

Bought these socks to reduce tightness around the ankles, they are brilliant, very comfortable and no marks around my lower legs and they stay put and don't roll down. I shall definitely order some more in due course. Thank you.
