They have specially designed welts that won’t constrict or pinch as they hold up without pressure. They include smooth toe seams too, so there is none of the uncomfortable rubbing that can lead to blisters.

Great socks. Soft to wear snd very easy for s person of 80 to put on. They wash well and can go in with whites ad well as a mixed load. This was my 3rd purchase.
